HI EVERYONE! I've had about 4 mugs of coffee within the past 5 hours, and I'm real excited to type up this post about the Bird Trouble bag giveaway that is going to be going on starting today, February 5th until February 19th. HELLO!


I really like and appreciate all 1,003 kind folks who have liked Bird Trouble's Etsy shop since I started selling in 2009. Seriously, 1,003 admirers (not to mention all the followers everywhere else). That's wild. I've also noticed Bird Trouble is being talked about a lot more by my friends, their friends, and all the wonderful bloggers and crafters I know. Now that I have some items for sale at Eskell and not in my online shop, I'm starting to get real pumped to stay as busy as I can, more often, to fill the shop up with real cool bags.


I was called out on being humble about what I do the other day and I want that to change, because yeah, I hope, in a lot of different scenarios, one day I could be designing and creating a lot more than I am now. I've recently put in a schedule change to work one day less at my day job so I could be in my studio more during the day. Though it wont start until March, I'm already nervous about the one day less of secure income. But as I do best, I'm going to go with the flow and hope for the best. I've already planned for a few projects this month to kick start some Spring/Summer collections with some textiles I've been wanting to work with. I've been sketching a lot and hoarding a lot of finds...ha. I think you guys will really like what I have in store!
