NEW BAGS : Another shop update with one of a kind SHOULDER BAGS.

Happy Saturday! This week has been so busy. Not only did I add the Dyed & Bleached Collective to the Etsy shop yesterday, but I also added some new shoulder bags earlier this week. I'm just getting around to telling you guys! I will let the pictures speak for themselves. You can find measurements, pricing, and availability in the listings down at the bottom. Remember, these are one of a kind and what you see if what you get.

Please help support the new Bird Trouble bags by sharing them with your friends, adding what you love to your Pinterest, and leaving me a comment in this post to let me know what you think about them! As always, thank you for reading.

NEW BAGS : Dyed & Bleached Collective with an update.

Today is the release of the new products from Bird Trouble's Hand Dyed and Bleached Collective. These bags are now available in our Etsy shop. As seen in the Bohemian Collective, there is only one shoulder satchel available as of right now. The clutches are one of a kind and will come in bundles. To stay with our repurposed trend, the lining in all of these bags are thrifted repurposed materials.

The items in the Bird Trouble Etsy Shop are ready to ship and will ship in 1-4 business days, giving you just enough time for the Holidays.

Other than shop updates, I've been keeping extremely busy over here. I've been working really hard to give you guys enough bags for the holidays and, of course, our internet went out earlier this week. While we wait for a new modem, I've been spending hours at the coffee shop under my apartment. It sure is a great place to come to. I get so much work done here compared in my studio though I've been listening to the Talking Heads for the last 3 hours & staring at my computer for the last 4 hours, it may be time to step out into fresh air.

I also recently was given a promotion at the salon and now I have a bunch of new & exciting responsibilities! I'm so excited to be working along with the salon's marketing team and seeing what new experiences come my way. With the promotion is a lot more time at the salon, and I am in desperate need of some me-time. James is away for the weekend on a father & son re-treat (cute, huh?) so it is perfect timing to squeeze in some alone time. My plans for the evening? Well needed SHOPPING! What are yours?

As always, I appreciate every one's support who comes to my blog, checks out my bags, or even spreads the word. If you're an artist or a blogger who is interested, I would love to collaborate ideas on how we can promote each other. I recently received an email from a daring small business owner offering ideas to bounce off each other, and it's important to never forget that we're here to support each other! SO, that being said, THANK YOU for supporting Bird Trouble's cause and what I love to do.

The Bohemian Collective Winter Lookbook 2012 : NEW MOON.

The Bohemian Collective's MAGIC MOON lookbook went live today. I couldn't be more blown away, again, by Laura, Katelyn, and Gina. The Bohemian Collective is a group of artists I've been apart of for some time now. Laura brought us all together, to make what we do, in hopes of giving love, inspiring others, and giving back to a cause. She's spent countless hours dedicating herself to this project and she's been such an inspiration to me.

This season, TBC is donating to Sevenly. I'm so proud to say that I'm apart of this group. You can see the Bird Trouble Dyed & Bleach Fringe Bag / Clutch on page 209 & if you're interested in purchasing, a close version to it can be purchased here.

Follow The Bohemian Collective's blog to keep up with all then happenings.
Let us know what you think! Thank you for taking the time to explore.

I love Cory & Topanga.

Okay, so I remember being slightly obsessed with Boy Meets World growing up. Yes, I am a 90's child. I could watch show after show and I was basically their best friends, but just living outside of the television box. Yeah... about that... Anyway, I think that Boy Meets World has absolutely helped fuel my love for sappy high school stories, to this day. I am currently obsessed with Freaks Meets Geeks, and no, it's not just because of James Franco. I genuinely get nostalgic and I love nostalgia. It makes me think a lot about my high school years, and for some reason, I've been wanting to reminisce a lot about those years recently.

I just think that I needed to take the time out of my day today to explain my kind-of-really-curious-interest for Boy Meets World series, Girl Meets World. I know I don't really talk about television on my blog, because well, I don't really watch it. I just use my Netflix. It's sufficient for now. James and I really love watching shows together, falling in love with characters, their stories & comparing real-life to television situations. We do that a lot with How I Met Your Mother. I get a kick out of enjoying silly things like that with him. THE ONLY THING is, it's going to be on Disney. Hmmm... not that I won't watch Disney channel, but it's making me suspect this is going to be childish.

Either way, when ever Girl Meets World comes out, I may need to take the time to go to a friend's house with a TV. I don't think I can miss watching who ever shows up in the new cast, Cory being the new Mr. Feeny of the show, and a Cor-panga baby girl (who is the 13 year old "Girl" in the "Girl Meets World". Her name is Riley Matthews, which to me, sounds like your typical sweet & honest girl next store. Maybe she plays a sport too. She's a real team player. That's just me being judgmental. OH WAIT. I have a real description of her from the original casting call : "13 years old, indelible personality, an adorable girl on the cusp of whatever comes next in life, and wanting to rush into it head first. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, and spends most of her time juggling the obstacles that life throws her way... there is no obstacle in this girl's world that can dampen her bright spirit and eternal optimism." I was close.).

ALSO. What will their hair look like?! The anticipation!
I JUST WANT TO RE-LIVE THE 90'S, OKAY. GIVE ME CORY & TOPANGA.

Love, Alexz.

Bird Trouble's Look Book glimpse was featured in the Miss Teacups blog for their Share The Love post (and actually, I was also mentioned here recently!). Blogger & Ontario resident, Carly, has a great rocker, bohemian, yet comfortable & modern style. Check out her personal lifestyle blog & see all the things she's swoonin' over! She's always sharing fashions that I get excited about. Sometimes I think we are freakishly alike. To the point to where I'm like OH, COME ON. Even her boyfriend & mine have the same Tumbleweeds Handcraft sunglasses.

That is all. GOOD NIGHT!
