10 Things I Love

March has been insane so far! I'm such a busy bee with Bird Trouble, school, and work. I'm also completely worn out today and I'm not sure why. I just feel so tired even though I slept good. I have so much to blog about but I can't find the time! I still want to blog about the things I won in Biscuits giveaway (seems like forever ago) and I need to blog about the package that Becky sent me the other day!!!! I'm freaking out just thinking about it. Becky, I loved everything and I love you for it but I will give you a proper post hopefully tomorrow. :)

That being said... let's get on with 10 Things I Love Monday so I can go to bed! :)

1) Alice in Wonderland. I saw it Friday morning and I really, really enjoyed it. I found myself inspired and wanting to do a some of creative things, so naturally, I liked it. Did anyone else see it and what did you think of it? I'm hearing so many different opinions.

2) This beautiful vintage typewriter! I've been looking for the perfect, affordable, and cute typewriter for a while now but it's so hard! I plan on going to a few antique stores soon and hopefully I'll find one.

3) All this prettiness. I especially love those sunglasses!

4) I
wish I could live here!

5) I screamed when I saw this picture! It's just too adorable.

6) Bonnie and Clyde! I love learning anything and everything about them. I've already read 4 books on them for pleasure and I finally get to put that knowledge to use for my speech class next week!

7) This great little tattoo. I love the placement of it too.

8) I watch Amelie at least once a month. It always cracks me up and puts me in the best mood.

9) Okay, I seriously started laughing so hard when I saw this! I'm obsessed with Lost. OBSESSED. This season is driving me insane!

10) I'm trying to end each 10 Things I Love Monday with a polaroid of mine with a little story/explanation. This one was taken a few years ago in front of an abandoned house. This was one of my favorite abandoned homes we found. I can't wait for warmer weather to start exploring again.

All photos found from weheartit.com unless stated.

Before I end my post... I just wanted to say two more things.
- A HUGE thank you all my lovely customers! We hit 250 sales a few days ago and I'm so ecstatic! I really, really love Bird Trouble and doing what I do... I'm just so happy that you guys love it too. :)
- I'm going to be doing a giveaway within 2 weeks with a few winners. Be sure to keep an eye out! :)

Have a wonderful week everyone!

  4. I saw Alice in Wonderland last night and overall enjoyed it, but had some problems with the music. I really like Danny Elfman, but sometimes he just puts an added slice of cheese on things that make me cringe (i.e. Willy Wonka). I also was expecting the film to be a bit darker and more true to the book since Tim Burton did it. Though, Tim Burton has disappointed me in the past by being too sappy (i.e. Big Fish) and I have to keep in mind not everything is always going to be as amazing as Ed Wood or Edward Scissorhands. From a feminist perspective though, I thought the film had a very powerful and positive message for young women, which was great. Bet you didn't expect such a loaded opinion! I'm kind of a film nerd. :)

  8. Rachel, I completely agree that Tim Burton was a bit disappointing. I wish it were darker too. But I liked your long opinion! :)
