Okay, so I remember being slightly obsessed with Boy Meets World growing up. Yes, I am a 90's child. I could watch show after show and I was basically their best friends, but just living outside of the television box. Yeah... about that... Anyway, I think that Boy Meets World has absolutely helped fuel my love for sappy high school stories, to this day. I am currently obsessed with Freaks Meets Geeks, and no, it's not just because of James Franco. I genuinely get nostalgic and I love nostalgia. It makes me think a lot about my high school years, and for some reason, I've been wanting to reminisce a lot about those years recently.
I just think that I needed to take the time out of my day today to explain my kind-of-really-curious-interest for Boy Meets World series, Girl Meets World. I know I don't really talk about television on my blog, because well, I don't really watch it. I just use my Netflix. It's sufficient for now. James and I really love watching shows together, falling in love with characters, their stories & comparing real-life to television situations. We do that a lot with How I Met Your Mother. I get a kick out of enjoying silly things like that with him. THE ONLY THING is, it's going to be on Disney. Hmmm... not that I won't watch Disney channel, but it's making me suspect this is going to be childish.
Either way, when ever Girl Meets World comes out, I may need to take the time to go to a friend's house with a TV. I don't think I can miss watching who ever shows up in the new cast, Cory being the new Mr. Feeny of the show, and a Cor-panga baby girl (who is the 13 year old "Girl" in the "Girl Meets World". Her name is Riley Matthews, which to me, sounds like your typical sweet & honest girl next store. Maybe she plays a sport too. She's a real team player. That's just me being judgmental. OH WAIT. I have a real description of her from the original casting call : "13 years old, indelible personality, an adorable girl on the cusp of whatever comes next in life, and wanting to rush into it head first. She is fiercely loyal to her friends, and spends most of her time juggling the obstacles that life throws her way... there is no obstacle in this girl's world that can dampen her bright spirit and eternal optimism." I was close.).
ALSO. What will their hair look like?! The anticipation!
