Happy October!

Dome, Allie, and Myself. October 1st, 2009. Driving to our girly sleepover at Dome's house.

I'm back! Thanks for your kinds words about my leave of absence. My life has been nuts for the past 2 weeks and I feel like my head has finally and almost stopped twirling in circles! Things are working well with me and Nate, we're trying to rebuild some parts in our relationship while he's still in Philly and I'm being given the independence I need. He should be out here around Halloween. I'm excited. My room is almost put together, I just need to get in the knitty-gritty of organizing. I found a job already and I'm excited to start next week so I can finally bring some $ into my pockets. I'm going to enroll into school, probably today, so I can get my Spring schedule figured out. I can't wait to sew myself a new school bag and to buy new binders and notebooks. Yeah, I know, I'm such a nerd.

Besides all that jazz, Chicago is great. I'm happy to be back and to be around my friends. I'm trying to reconnect with friends I haven't seen in a long time. Last night I went to a billiards bar with my friend Mike who I haven't seen in like 3 years! It was awesome catching up.

Anywaaaaaaaays.... I added 16 new cup sleeves to the shop yesterday! I love them all but I especially love the anchor chain one. Check them out!

  5. Hey! I just found your blog today and I think all your wallets look super cute! I need to get one! I am leaning definitely toward the fawn... I am a sucker for cute woodland creatures! But anyway, I was just writing to say that, and also it's soo cool I actually found someone who lives nearby me on blogger :) I live in the suburbs just outside of Philly (for now, anyway)until I move in February.

Hope you're having a good night!

  7. Emilie, Yay! Im so glad you liked my wallets! Im actually going to be making another wallet with a different fawn fabric on it... I'm so excited for it! I'll probably work on it this week. Im sure I'll post it when I'm done. Anyway, its funny you say that about Philly because I literally just moved back to Chicago but I thought it was awesome when I found someone who lived in the burbs. I was living in West Chester, how far are you from there?
    Thanks for the lovely comment!
