Bird Trouble life: I've been wanting to sway away from the cup sleeves, wallets, and pouches by getting more into larger shoulder bags. It's hard because I have to spend more hours making it and well, my hours are becoming limited. But I finally started one earlier this week with Joel Dewberry's chocolate faux bois home decor. I love, love, love that print and I had a couple yards of it from custom orders so I whipped this pretty bag up. What do you think? I put it up in the shop earlier today and I can't wait to make more.
I also made this cute little picture for the main page of my new website. I was getting sick of all the flash on my old website so I created a new one in about 5 hours tonight using weebly.com. Check it out and let me know what you think! I put 'projects' in the subtitle because I want to start combining fabric, sewing, trims, and buttons on one of a kind cardstock prints. I just need to find the time and inspiration to do so!
Day job life: I trained at my new job Monday to Thursday this week. Thursday I didn't get off work until 2:30am! I don't like that :[ hopefully I don't have to close often. Other than that, I've been eating a ton of free tradition chicken wings because I get free food during my training week. My favorite is Desert Heat... which is a seasoning rub and not a sauce. It's so good, I'm drooling just thinking about it. hahah The Asian Zing flavor is my second favorite but it's not fun when you breathe in a chili pepper. I know, I really love food.
Personal life: I went bowling yesterday and beat the girls in all three games of bowling. *evil laugh* I also saw Where the Wild Things are last night and honestly, don't hate me, but I didn't think it was amazing. It was too slow for me and one of the characters feet was really grossing me out. It was okay though. I'm more of a Zombieland movie girl... which was HILARIOUS. I wish Woody Harrelson's character in the movie was in my family because he is too perfect. Other than that, Nate will be here on Friday. He received a real good and large bonus from his old boss and has enough money to come out early. I have good hopes of things working out, I just hope our promises go through and maybe we can reconnect what we've lost. Relationships. *sigh*
