This past weekend was Renegade Handmade in Chicago. Luckily, I live only a few blocks away from Division St. where it was held, so after work on Saturday, I walked over to meet up with Jen and Alec. They'd been there for a few hours prior so we walked around for a little bit and met up with Becky from Strumpets Crumpets!! It was a glorious moment to finally meet a blog friend who I've know on the internet for years now. Jen and I also went up to the Red Velvet tent and introduced ourselves to the girls and chit-chatted about what we do and what we want to do. It was refreshing talking to such sweet ladies.

Her and Alec ended up staying over two nights in a row. I loved having them here. It's great hanging out with two people who you get along with so well, right off the bat, even though you barely know them. I only wish they didn't live 3 hours away! But at least it's only 3 and not a million hours.
Unfortunately, this past weekend was probably the nicest weather we'll have. It sure is getting cold outside. I'm sitting outside the coffee shop near my apartment to post this since I don't have internet set up at our place. I'm trying to stay warn with my chai latte but it's not working!
Did anyone else go to Renegade this past weekend? What did you end up buying?

so fun! i loved renegade. i didn't end up buying anything...but i LOVED browsing all the beautiful things. glad you had a good time :)
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to go - I keep meaning to save up and come one year but it's along way to come just for Renegade - I need to organise a longer trip and then push it in the middle!
